Mind hackers who may change your Adsense pub ID
One of the March posts of webmasterworld forums revealed that some technical employee stealthly plug his own Adsense pub ID in on around 25% of the organization’s webpages. This really banged me to take caution upon my Adsense codes scattered within the entire site. And you should too.
If it’s someone else rather than you that’s creating and maintaining your website, it is a good idea to ensure the Adsense codes in all the pages are implemented with your pub ID.
Hackers would prove to be another source of sabotage in your income. So check the Adsense pub ID in all of your pages from time to time; make sure no hackers who happen to break into the host and just modify your adsense codes to generate free income. In addition, it’s not totally impossible that web hosting company employee might as well enjoy a little extra income undiscovered.
Maybe someone can write a very simple script to scan all the pages to see if the pub id is left intact.
