    How to restart SSH?

    This guide from rackspace:

    http://cloudservers.rackspacecloud.c...erver_Security

gives good information about modifying SSH access by making changes in the SSH config file. The article suggest changes and then says:

"Note that we haven't enabled the new settings - we will restart SSH in a moment"

But then the article never says how to restart SSH.

    How?
The road goes ever on and on.

not sure if it's like this on all distros, but on ubuntu and open suse and some others the command takes the following form...

    /etc/init.d/ssh [start|stop|restart]

so to restart ssh, simply type:

    /etc/init.d/ssh restart

    as root, of course.
The road goes ever on and on.
