The pro is definitely that it's one of the best traffic analysis tool offered free. But on the other hand, Google then has the privilege to completely monitor your traffic and knows everything about your site / users / traffic sources / user experience, etc. inside out. Does this give Google too much information in determining if your site is worthy of specific keywords in their search rankings?

In my opinion, while it's probably a plus for really good sites (with terrific content, products, design, thus terrific user experience) because Google knows users are really enjoying them, it's probably a bad thing for sites that are mediocre or even bad. Google would then know users are not quite fond of this one and would very probably count your traffic analysis in their natural search rankings.

Your say? Should we use Google Analytics at all?
